About Me
I have always been the kind of person who has been known to turn my words into action. However, when I made the decision to start turning my actions into words, a whole new realm of possibility arose. Starting The Tipsy Realist is a long-time dream that has finally come to life.

As a thirty-something year old female, I have been what some might call a “life-long learner”. Always studious, organized, prompt… I learned how to become a professional student from a very young age and excelled throughout high school, college, and later through my post-graduate program. I used to think that the key to success as an adult was doing well in school. Now that I actually am an adult, I realized that though school has opened many doors for me in my career, there are so many other elements of life which have enriched me in ways that school never could.

As it turns out, being a successful adult is not defined by how well you did on a test or the grade you received in math class (which for me was not very good lol)… It is defined by all the failures, defeats, struggles, and in turn, the perseverance from within to fight back and move forward after each set back. The world never loses its ability to do bad things to you, but YOU never lose your ability to do great things in the world.

I have been extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to travel, explore different cultures, and immerse myself in the lifestyles of a wide range of individuals. I have found that the lessons I have learned from those experiences act as a motivating factor for me to continue on my journey, not only as an avid “life-long learner”, but now as a writer, photographer, coach, and public speaker.

The Tipsy Realist is devoted to balance, wellness, vivacious living, and overall lifestyle while creating a community that honors the power of networking and the ability to positively impact others.

So grab your cocktail of choice and dive in! Let’s face it, once you’re a little TIPSY things get REAL…
